Where Can I Get a Speed Graphic?

• purchase a copy of Shutterbug Magazine or the Camera Shopper and peruse the ads
• or visit your local camera flea market.
• Recent prices vary widely. A typical 4x5 Pacemaker Speed Graphic Graflok back should be easily found at $250-$300. A Crown Graphic in great shape with Kodak 127mm/f4.7 lens, filters, 4x5 film holders; flash, bulbs, and case recently sold for $300 [1997]. After a short period in 1998-1999 when prices seemed headed upwards, lately (2000) prices have returned to the $300 or even lower level, due to increased supply.
• Bargains are around, though. Check flea markets, garage sales, faraway relatives...plenty of cameras are still to be found below $200.
