I was given a mint Miniature Graflex about 20 years ago and only recently have I opened it to explore its' possibilities. I was told by the former owner that film holders were no longer available, so I shelved the unit. I found some holders on ebay, but wish to use a roll film back. My question:
I can alter the back to accept a roll film holder, but which Mamiya 6x7 holder will work? Does anyone know the specific model number/stocking number? Or will ANY RB67 film holder work?
Thanks in advance! |

| Can't address y'r question re RB backs. If your camera has a Graflok back (search on this site, there's a picture somewhere) then you can use Graflex brand roll backs made to fit (silly nomenclature) Graflok backs, not those made to fit Graflex backs. If it has a spring back, you can use an Adapt-A-Roll 620, search this site for more info.
Y'r question has come up fairly recently, try a search for RB67 here, you might find the answer.
Cheers,

I haven't kept up with all that Mamiya has to off now, but I know the earliest version of the RB back is an improved clone of the Graflex, Inc roll back. The second version, which I think is the Pro, has an interlock system in the upper corners so you can't shoot the RB with the darkslide in. Obviously this isn't usable in your situation.
There was a third version, the Pro S, and is does something else that I couldn't use. I bought three of the oldest versions and they work like a charm. |
