Hello all,
I am a brand new Anniversary Speed Graphic 3x4 owner and am trying to get it back up and running. One thing it was missing unfortunately was its lens and lensboard.
I have managed to get a replacement lens for it; a Kodak Ektar 127mm in supermatic shutter. However I'm having trouble with the lensboard.
I know I will need a 3.25"x3.25"but I am less clear on some of the other sizing. I found one that is described with: "3.25"x 3.25" (83mm x 83mm) wooden lens board with 4.5mm rabbet on the back and rebated front lip 1/8" thick, Copal #0"
Should this fit? I feel like it should, but I could use some pro advice. Thanks! |

A site that had a lot of camera catalogs and instruction manuals has bit the dust but fortunately I saved the Kodak lens catalog from the 1950's to my HD.
The Suoermatic shutter, all versions, for the 127mm lens requires a 38mm/ 1 1/2 inch diameter mount hole.
A Copal 0 shutter requires a 34.6mm mount hole so you will have to enlarge a Copal 0 mount hole by 3mm (1.5mm radius) for the Supermatic to fit.

Off topic...
Love my Anniversary 3x4.. there a bit unusual film wise, so we cut our own to size, which gives us freedom to use different brands. |

3x4 Anniversaries use a Graflex "A" board, 3.25" square.
I can recommend seller zbima1 on the big auction site as a reliable source for these lens boards. He will furnish any hole size requested at no charge. I have no relation to the seller except as a satisfied customer. Hope this helps! |
