Those look kinda antique. Not sure how to load them as I don't see a flap at the bottom. I'm tempted to buy them anyway. |

Fortunately I already have five good holders but I need a few more. I'll wait for newer ones, should come along eventually. I see the price for film has gone up. That catalog shows $.77 / doz. B&H has 3x4 listed at $68.00 for 25. I'll be cutting mine down from 4x5. |

Most of what I'm seeing in this size (3.25x4.25) right now are wood holders. Prices seem to be scattered, and I'm not seeing anyone saying it was actually tested as light-tight... _________________ () | ASCII Text Campaign

As long as they are complete, no pieces chipped out they will be serviceable.
The loading flap hinge tape can be replaced with book binders tape if the hinge is bad. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

I've been seeing 3x4 bag mags at only a few times the cost of a 2-sheet holder. Assuming they work and are or can be made light-tight, that seems a more cost-effective solution for actually shooting with the beast. _________________ () | ASCII Text Campaign
