Could someone please tell me where I can find lens boards for circa 1951 speed or crown graphic cameras? What I would really like would be blank boards. Thanks |

Check the commercial links on the homepage. Recently the reproductions are coming with a #1 copal. I'm not sure why. |

I got a metal repro board with a #1 hole from Columbus Camera Group. The standard board comes with a #0 hole, however. |

Wonder why the 4x5 boards come already drilled, while the 2x3 repro boards are blank? Any theories, anybody?

they may be punching the hole first and using it to locate the blank in the next set of dies. Maybe the 2x3 is so small they don't need to?
I didn't buy it either.

Smallest current shutter size pre made= less material, less machine time, just as easy to enlarge.
A quess.
