I've just acquired the cam for 90mm lens for my Super Graphic.

Already have the Graphic 90mm lens mounted on proper board and am curious when setting it up for shooting, do I affix the lens to the track at the infinity point and the cam will automatically do the rest?

All thoughts on SG rangefinder cams are welcome.

On all makes of cameras and rangefinders both the taking lens and the rangefinder must show infinity at the same position then IF the rangefinder is calibrated to the lens the rangefinder and lens will match to around 3 feet for a 90mm lens. In the case of a camed rangefinder the rangefinder and lens must be at infinity at the same point and the cam be matched to the lens. The greater the error between the cam and lens the greater the focusing error between the rangefinder and the lens at distances closer than infinity.

Install the cam, set the rails to rangefinder infinity, set the front standard to lens infinity, lock, set infinity stops, check lens focus on the ground glass against the rangefinder in focus indication at 100 ft, 50ft, 25 ft, 15ft, 10ft, 8ft to 3ft in 1 foot increments to determine if the cam and lens are a match. Use a tape measure from the film plane of the camera to the focus target for 50 foot and closer distances.

I've got the P4 cam and two 90mm lenses to choose from so perhaps, with luck can get pretty close.
Will try it out this week and report back.
