I am new to using my Speed Graphic. I want to use flash bulbs, but when I plug the cord into the shutter port on the flash unit, and into the shutter release on the camera, the bulb fires as soon as I put it into the flash unit. I can not get it to fire if I plug the cord into any other port on the flash unit. What am I doing wrong? |

Try cocking the shutter first. |

I thought I did, and that doesn't seem to make a difference, but I will try that again (i think again?) tonight when I get home and let you know if that helps or not.

Thank you so much. I printed out the manual and the directions seem very clear. Thank you again. |
