G'day all, dumb user issue:

I am seeing a reflection (I assume) of the lens in the center of the groundglass when focussing. Have thried covering the back of the groundglass shields (?) with a dark windcheater, but issue still exists, so I assume it is not light coming through the groundglass. although I may be wrong.

Slight image with the shutter closed, but overwhelming with the lens wide open.

I don't remember this last time I picked up my Graphics (a while ago unfortunately).

Issue is occurring with two Super Graphic bodies and two separate lenses, both in proper super lens boards.

Am I doing something wrong ?

Obvious questions is the lens board correctly attached to the camera and is the focus panel correctly attached to the back of the camera?

Is the lens image/reflection present regardless of what distance the lens is focused at?

To check the camera for light leaks lock the front standard at the front edge of the rails, run the rails out to their limit and lock, install a blank lens board or a lens mounted on a lens board with the shutter closed, remove the focus panel, and in total darkness insert a bright light inside the bellows from the rear and observe the outside of the bellows for any hint of light.

Thanks Charles - the focus panel was the culprit.

I thought a standard panel would seal as well as a super one.
I was evidently mistaken.

Would love a super back with the crown style spring metal shade though.
The cloth sides on my super back shade don't seal too well. Any ideas ?
