Hello,

I am thinking about getting a vintage electronic flash to go with my Pacemaker.

Is this an area worth exploring? What are the pitfalls?
What are good (inexpensive) models to look for?

I am very handy, and have built/modified many an electronic flash in my day.

But I don't want to buy a "Pig in a Poke".

Am looking right now at a honeywell 660.

Any thoughts?

Are you concerned with looks or results? If results, you might want a newer auto-thyrister flash.

And, do you know that electronic flash can't be used with a Speed Graphic's focal plane shutter?
