Thanks to a generous offer by member 1banjo, I got my hands on a Heiland Synchronar flashgun... and now I'd like to know how to use it.
I initially did a few tests by popping a couple of bulbs while looking through the ground glass, and sure enough I saw the flash. Then I shot a couple of pictures and the result was... one blank shot. All I got there was this dot from a lightbulb. The other shot worked though. On all instances I used a no. 5 bulb at a speed of 1/20.
What I'd like to know is how exactly do I adjust synchronization? Is it possible to use the flash at high speeds? I'm using a Heiland solenoid.
And another one - What can you tell me about using remote control? _________________ C.I.H. |
