A now diciest friend told me he took stereo photos during WW2 for the US Navy of Naval big guns. It was for training showing repair, dissembly & reassembly in stereo. I don't know if the final results were for Viewgraph, books with prints, or slides?
I acquired this Stereo Graphic camera many yrs ago. Camera is one of many old camera photos on one of my Facebook pages:

I should clarify, it was the plate camera version, not the hand camera! The photographer also worked for Keystone doing stereo & also Polaroid doing stereo Vectographs. He was Charles DuBois Hodges. Much more info on him & cameras used & photos made. _________________ PHSNE1 |
