It's been 45 years since I souped 2x3 sheet film. Just curious what the cost per sheet is these days now that I've got a 4x5.

For example, Kodak T-MAX 100 & 400 with D-76 or T-MAX developers.

Adox Adonal (aka agfa Rodinal) 500ml for $14 is still the cheapest per use as it can be diluted to 1:50 or beyond.

The cost of the chemistry is very cheap especially if you use stock XTOL and replenish with unused XTOL [70ml for every four sheets of 4"x5" film]. Your real costs are for the film, because the tank gets amortized while the chemistry and film do not.

By the way, look at this and you will see why I use replenished XTOL.

Replenished XTOL gives finer grain and better tonality than either stock [undiluted] or one shot [diluted] XTOL.
