Ilford HP5+ FP4+ in 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 Available Again, Sort Of

I learned that Ilford will still sell 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 film as part of a yearly ULF (Ultra Large Format) special run - Freestyle (and perhaps others) have a "window of opportunity" to take pre-paid orders for this film. The price is roughly $28 per 25-sheet box with an order deadline of 6/18/2010 and a delivery scheduled 9/15/2010.

I also may order some of their house-brand 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 sheet film to see how it does.

I sure like using sheet film instead of 120 in this format. 70% of my hobby is color work and digital; however, I still use film for B&W and like sheet film for its flatness and the ability to shoot 1 or 2 shots, then process without wasting an entire 120 roll. I process the film in open 1/2 gallon tanks in total darkness in stainless hangers.
