|

Hi... as the title says, I need at least 4 and up to 10 of the itty-bitty Century Graphic metal lens panels. Please PM or email mparrish3 (at) satx (dot) rr (dot) com with advice or offers. |

Bite the bullet, pay SKGrimes' price. Also contact Fred Lustig to see if he has 'em. And then bite that bullet.
If nothing else works, ask Glen Thoreson for the recipe for forming boards. He's done it.
Oh, and by the way, I am not one of the local powers that but, but you should be aware that the local powers that be frown on offers to buy as strongly as on offers to sell. Be prepared for someone, probably Les Newcomer, to slap your wrist.
Cheers,
Dan |

Hi Dan,
I'm accustomed to being beaten... just check my LFP.I record and my disagreemants with eddie who apprently is in good favor with the Mods there.
The problem is cash flow. I'm buying these primarily for my brother but my financial situation is absolute poo-poo at the moment. I also need a few boards for some other cameras I'll sell later.
At any rate... let the beatings begin...
I STILL NEED THE CENTURY BOARDS!!

<dang> it should be the sound of Curly Howard (three stooges) getting slapped and saying Ooh!

the sound was under "double cheek slap" _________________ "In order to invent, you need a good imagination and a lot of junk" Thomas Edison |

Hey Dan... Just called Fred Lustig. Seems like a nice honest fellow who's proud of his business and his work. He charges $35 each cut and lenses mounted. However, he doesn't discount for plain blank boards. I get the feeling he's semi-retired so I'd better place my order ASAP. |

|
|
As per the subject box... sound like an even trade to you folks? Mine are the genuine Technika boards. One is for the view camera, the other two are for the little technical style. One of the latter two is in "good" condition with some abrasions and the other is exc++ (very nice). The proposed trade is one board for one board. |
