I just recently acquired a Graflex R.B. Series D in nice, shootable condition. I would dearly love to know where to look to find the serial number on this camera. There is a five digit number on the lower corner of the plate on the side that gives the curtain and tension settings for each of the shutter speeds, but it doesn't have that look of a stamped serial number. Perhaps the plate is somewhere else?
Thanks,

Behind the focusing hood on the right side when the lens is facing you.

Thank you! At nearly the same time you posted this, Ken Metcalfe from GHQ got back to me and said that it was from a batch of 400 made in 1943 and that his is from the same batch. |
