I tried taking some pictures this weekend shooting on polaroid 55 PN. With one flash (and some serious exposure fudging) I was able to get so OK exposures, but people had shadows growing out of their heads. I need some fill. Has anyone used those Wein "peanut slaves" that plug into the pc socket on your flash? They're pretty cheap, and I think they might help. I use my sb-28 on a cord to the camera, and my 283 either as a bounce fill or as a backlight for those artsy shots. Any pointers?

Haven't used a new Wein, but the old Peanut with household connection works just fine to fire a slave flash. Can't see why the new ones wouldn't work as well. |
