I just picked up a 4x5 crown and it came with a 210mm lens in a compound shutter. What a beast,it is in perfect condition and someone has added X sync. My question is what is the best use for this lens, besides the shelf. Russ |

I expect it would make a better than average portrait lens. |

Well I will give it a try, This Lens is uncoated cira 1939. I did not realize you could get such a huge hunk of glass in a 4x5 and still close the lid. The last time I used a 4x5 was 1960. Russ |

Sence your lens is uncoated it may be softer than a moddern lens, thats nice in a portrate lens though. |
