I notice in another post that the #4 mask is said to be the correct one for a 135 mm lens on a 4 x 5 camera. My 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 Speed Graphic has a #4 mask in the optical finder. This mask cannot be correct for both a 4 x 5 camera and a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 camera as the aspect ratio of the image is quite different, 1.25 : 1 on the 4 x 5 camera as opposed to the aprox. 1.44 : 1 on the 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 camera.
What is the correct mask for a 101 mm lens on a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 camera?

It states that the mask would be a # 2 for a 3 15/16" through 4 1/2" lens.

As far as aspect ratio? It's also the correct mask for a 5 5/16"-6" on 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 AND correct for a 6 7/16-6 5/8" on 4x5!

I don't have a #2 so I can't say...

Just had the 1951 CROWN 2x3 out of the box to look.It's very accurate as well when lined up to the ground glass.

Happy Shooting...great camera this.

C. Henry, I'm sure Laurent will correct me if I'm mistaken. I believe that his table comes from the instruction manual for, e.g., the RH-8.

It does look very similar to the table in my RH20 instructions. I can't imagine that there would be any copyright issues with the use of this information.

not to compete...but copy if you wish. (I.E.- position mouse pointer on the image and right click, select 'save picture as" left click and select file on your HD and click save)
