Hello,
I just bought a Graflex Crown Graphic 4x5 that needs to be looked after before operating - I am looking for both a ground glass with frames 6x7 (and 4x5?) and also a Fresnel glass to match. Anybody have an idea ? Calling from France by the way.

| You'll have to be careful before adding a fresnel. If your focusing panel was made to accept a fresnel, then the replacement has to be exactly as thick as the original and will go in front (on the lens side) of the ground glass, ridges facing the GG. If your focusing panel was not made to accept a fresnel, any plastic fresnel you can cut to fit will do but it must go behind (on the film side) the GG.
Bonne chance,

I have free downloadable templates on the website that was mentioned, and a couple of ideas on how to use them, you can either trace them on the ground side of the glass, or use clear acetate to print them on and then over lay your ground glass with them, I don't knonw of a company that currently manufactures glass in the correct size for the speed or crowns with the pattern already on the glass. As far as putting a 4x5 mark on the crown glass, you will not be able to do this as the crown glass is smaller than a true 4x5 size, the crown size is 3 15/16 by 4 13/16 or 100mm by 123mm
