A friend gave me a 2x3 Century Graphic last week (yay!) and a 120 roll film holder for it. He even pre-loaded the holder for me.
After shooting the roll and unloading the holder, I noticed he had an RH8 knob-wind insert in the holder. The holder is labeled RH10.
Should I politely point out the difference? (This was all free, so I would have to come across as ungrateful. However, I think somewhere around his house must be an RH8 holder probably has the RH10 insert in it.)
Thanks in advance,

I'd politely suggest, as you indicated. Worth a try, and who knows---you might get another roll holder in the process.
Have you developed the film yet? Since the film gate (opening) on the RH10 holder measures c. 2-1/4 x 2-3/4 inches, and you had an RH8 insert (intended for 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 images) in it, obviously there will be wide gaps between the images and you'll be losing two frames per roll of 120 film. Not a real serious problem, but OTOH not as the maker intended!

Henry,
Yes, think that's what I'll do. Now that I've thought it over a bit, I realize there will be 8 6x7cm (pardon the metric units) on the 120 rolls I shot. I fear a significan portion of the images will be cropped because I framed using the Century's wireframe finder! Oh, well.
I'll see what my friend says about the RH8 insert/RH 10 back.
Thanks,
