Some years ago I rescued a Crown Graphic Special from a pile of "junk" my company was going to throw away during a housecleaning. Knowing little enough about them, and now getting interested in getting it working, it's clear that the top mount rangefinder is not there. Are there replacements available? Where? Not found on eBay.
Thanks! |

About the best you can do is to find another camera and scavange parts off of it. It may take a while to find the right carcass. Fred Lustig in Nevada may have the parts but if they stripped everything-even the RF stuff inside the body- It'll be cheaper to buy a mint-in the box Crown that have Fred put it back together.

Why not drill a hole in the side of the body and install a side-mount?

Thanks for the info! I've looked at (and bid on" several of these on eBay, and have gotten killed so far. I have found a guy selling the parts I need on eBay, and he's just down the road from here, so maybe it'll work out after all.
I really appreciate the feedback. It's been a long time since I used one of these cameras, and hope to get this one going again. Not just to sit on a shelf, either! |

A thought just struck me. All of my Pacemaker models have the side rangefinder hole from the factory. It's there, just covered with leatherette. Look on the inside to see if yours has it.
