Any body have any thoughts on straightening some slightly bent septums? Has any one ever fabricated new ones or know of any one who has? Any one know of a good source for some replacements?
Thanks,

Brett--Best way I have found--hardwood blocks, one over one under--tap with a SMALL hammer to iron out the kinks!
Gun blue to refinish them! And for the side and end rails, a small paint spatula works great!

I can't help you with this question, but I can warn you of something which won't work. The plastic septums, (septae?, septa?), used in the film packs for the Fuji Quickchange holder look very like the Graflex ones, even the corner cutouts are almost exactly the same shape, but these will not work in a grafmatic, slightly too wide, only by a fraction of a milimetre. Pity. |
