does anybody know of a 70mm rollfilm back for 5x4" that delivers a 6x12cm neg?

I can't say that I ever heard of one. Remember that 70mm was designed for bulk shooting, typically portratis and they prefer the 6x7 format. The only other place I know 70mm bulk film being used was by the military.
I think I saw a strike camera that shot 6x17 on 70mm film, but that camera wasn't exactly user friendly.

I know of a camera that does. A Kodak 1a. I think that's the right model. It uses 116 film not 70mm but 116 is 70mm with a paper backing. The negative is I think 2½ x 4¼ inch or 63mmx108mm image area. The things are relatively cheap enough that buying one to hack is an idea. |
