Hello Friends, I just recieved my first 4x5 Speed Graphic w/graphlok back and need some film holders. I see tons of 4x5 filmholders (both wood and plastic) on e-bay and need to know if any all 4x5 holders will fit my camera. None of the descriptions says anything about what camera they will fit. I've seen Lisco,Riteway and others. On this site I've also seen numbers associated with the lisco type. Can anyone help?? Thanks in advance.

For the old wood holders, there's the newer Type (or series?) 5 that is the best of them. For the newer plastic holders, any of the Lisco, Riteway or Fidelity ones will work fine...

IF you stick with the modern plastic/rubber holders you'll be fine.
If you want to save money buying wood holders be careful (ie question the seller) of two holders that wont' work
One will say Graphic PLATE holder.... this holds glass plates.
The other is the GRAFLEX film holder The Graflex film holder has a groove top and bottom (long side of the holder) and will say "Graflex film holder" They also made Graflex PLATE holders too. |
