I've got two boxes of ektachrome e100s (10sheets) that have been in my refrigerator most of its usless life. They expired in Nove '99.
If there's anyone out there new to LF and could use some prractice film to shoot to test lenses or even just practice loading holders here it is.
And to keep this offer from offending the "no sales" rule. I'll pick up shipping.
The first one to contact me with their address at LNPhoto@ismi.net gets it. |

Hi;
I don't know if I'm first, but I sure would hope to get that free film.
If not, c'est la vie!
I just bought my camera the other day and have been doing small format all my life until I bought an old Kodak waist level viewfinder camera that used a HUGE (compared to the 35mm) negative and the same pictures I had made before became LIVING IMAGES!
I'm hooked now, and I need everything I can get as cheaply as I can get it...but I digress.
Great having this chat, even if I am late as usual.
Best regards

Hey Les, just to put your offer in the proper perspective, someone recently gave me a box of EPY 100, which expired 08/1996. I exposed a couple of sheets of it and had it processed, and it came out just fine. Contrast was a smidgen low for my tastes, but that would be easy to correct either in scanning or printing. (I'd post one of the results here, but the shots weren't particularly good anyway, and the blame wasn't attributable to the film, either.)
The Kodak E100S is one of my favorites for use in 120/220 format, but the only Ektachrome I've shot in 4x5 was the SW or "saturated / warm" version of that film. Fantastic stuff, but it ain't cheap.
