I just purchased a Grafmatic 4x5 film holder which seems to be working, but I can't figure out how to open it up to load the six septums. What's the secret? Or perhaps my holder is broken. Any help would be greatly appreciated, David

First, you need to look and see what number the counter is on. If it is on X, then you need to rotate the dial to the 1 position. Once in the one position, then you press the silver button adjacent to the darkslide towards the darkslide handle. While holding these together, pull the darkslide and box away from the holder. Once this entire assembly has reached the furthest point, then you hold the assembly and push the darkslide until the silver tab clicks away from the darkslide. Once it has clicked, then the darkslide can be pulled and the septums can be removed. Careful not to bend them.
