Gone are the days when a 20 sheet box of polaroid contained 2 10sheet boxes. So my question is, I live in the desert and naturally store my polaroid film in the fridge, If I open a box and remove 10 sheets.....can I leave the other 10 sheets in the fridge even though the foil that seals the film is now open? I'm worried about moisture, but I really hate to leave all 20 sheets out of the fridge when I only use maybe 10 on a shoot. And then, when I return home with a few sheets....can I put those back in the fridge? Thanks in advance!

Well, according to Polaroid, you simply store the opened box inside the included plastic bag... I'm still waiting to find a plastic bag inside a box of film...
But I do use the baggie freezer bags. Usually the gallong size, Although the 2 1/12 gallon size will hold two unopened boxes and that's convenient. There's no reason why you couldn't open a box, take film out and then seal it in a baggie in the fridge. Works great for me. Although I don't put film back into the baggie. If moisture is a concern (in the desert?), then you could put the removed but unused films into a separate baggie so any accumulated moisture doesn't move over to the untouched film.
The freezer bags work great for any kind of film, freezer or fridge.

Put the "left-overs" in plastic.
The "moisture problem" in the fridge oftentimes is one of *lack* of moisture. Fridges can easily dehydrate unprotected items - such as the chemical pod in Polaroid packets. When I bought my 545i back it came with two boxes of outdated Type 55 whose pods had dried out. Out of 20 sheets, only 3 were useable. Had the film been stored in an air-tight bag, I'd have had more "keepers."

Thank you! I had checked polaroid.com and they said that you could not store an opened package in the fridge, but I kinda doubted that. I appreciate the response.
