Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an old Polaroid back and am having trouble identifying it.

The label reads 'Graphic Polaroid Land Camera Back'

made by Graflex inc. There is no model number. It's in mint condition. I haven't been able to find much literature on it. Can it use Polaroid films avalable today?

Thanks for any insight you can give me.

Sounds like you've got a great looking paperweight. Sorry, but polaroid film is no longer available for those old backs.

Hope you didn't pay much for it.

Thanks for the info. I had a feeling that that was the case.

I picked it up for $10 so I guess it's a semi-expensive paper weight

They are fun to tear apart and adapt different types of cameras to the part that fit into the graflex back, I have made adapers to use a 35mm and a medium format bronica to a 4 x 5 and had some real fun, use a SLR type camera and play around with the focus and you now have a very large tilt and shift lens! Alls you have to do is figure out the correct focal plane to ensure it is focused on the film in the 35mm camera.

Anyway, just some ideas of a feble camera nut, I try anything once and more than once if my mind keeps telling me it can work!
