Stupid question... but the black KE-12(1) does not have 'speed bumps'. Were the 'speed bumps' only on the Anniversary cameras... so this is a black Pacemaker?
Did I just reveal my immense ignorance... _________________ P. Lynn Miller

Hi fellow Aussie Lynn!
Yes the KE-12(1) is a Pacemaker Speed, that and the earlier PH-47-H and PH-47-J. The very early (1942-45) PH versions E and F are Anniversary models.
Cheers,

Glad you got the shutter trip sorted out, once you see what it does it's not so bad.
I have only heard of two other PH-47-J cameras so that's four in total now! One was a post here by an owner about 5 or 6 years ago and another one went on ebay a while back. If anyone out there has one can you let me know?
There seems to be a lot more KE-12s out there but then I guess the Korean war kicked the numbers up.
Cheers again,
Bruce |

It was won on the major auction site, and from memory it was a bargain as it was listed under some strange description, like 'green camera'. It pays to search for everything!!

Yes, the 120 backs are good!
Just make sure the insides match the frame counter or the frame spacing will be too far spaced or overlapping.
Early models (knob wind) are the Graflex22 (approx 2"x2") and Graflex23 (approx 2"x3"), later models (lever wind) are RH-12 (6x6cm), RH-10 (6x7cm) and RH-8 (6x9cm). The numbers indicate the number of shots per 120 film. The RH-20 back was made for 220 film, and RH-50 for 70mm bulk film.
The rollfilm holders fit Graflex and Graflok backs, but not Graphic (spring) backs or the military KE-12(1) Graflok version as there are no slides to mount the holders in place. Make sure you get one with the matching mounting plate, 2x3, 3x4 or 4x5 to fit your camera!
At least the film is still readily available.
Cheers,
Bruce |
