Kodak may flush itself down the toilet; we'll see. I'm not taking bets on how long Kodachrome will be around; KR64 is all that's left now, and still the best IMO.
In the interest of full disclosure, I had heard of using Dektol as a film developer, but not knowing anything more about it than that it was possible, I didn't want to risk my "precious" negs in it, especially as I always got excellent results with either D76 or Microdol. Now that I use chromogenic b/w 120 exclusively, I gulp and trust the lab to dunk it in C-41. |
