Many people think that they just must have a Graflok back in order to use roll film in a Crown or Speed.

This is the back I tout when I sing the praises of a side RF spring-backed Crown as THE place to start when buying your first Graphic.

Calumet also made these in the 60s in bright finish. Called them the C2. In the late 80s they brought them back in black and called them the C2N. I asked them at the time what the "N" stood for thinking there was some re-engineering. The reply:

Thanks for the history and additional info on the c2 and c2n. I really wanted one of those 120/220 backs! The one on the link was just a little too high for my taste. But, I was able to find another one for a little less money from a photographer I know. I'll report back after I get it and test it.

The above link has a lot of information regarding the Calumet C2 and the Calumet C2N backs. I always check the old threads out shortly after purchasing the item (Before might be better.).

Well, I have my Calumet C2N 6x7 holder. The above link are Calumet C2N loading instructions for 120 and 220 film.
Les on this site and the Large Format Forum link earlier already have much info on these holders. The only comment that I really like to say is my 4x5 Crown holds the holder with the Graflok back spring and also by the Graflok slides for a real secure attachment to the camera. I like it!

Calumet also has stainless Steel replacement Darkslides for the 6x7cm C2N (made by Cambo)
It works better than the original darkslide because there are fewer corners to catch on my shirt sleeve and on the inside of my camera case. Not mentioning it's stronger.
