Will a BAY type filter adapter fit on a Kodak EKTAR 127mm f4.7 lens that's on my Crown? If so, does anyone know what size.
Thanks

| No, the lens' barrel doesn't have the female bayonet.
Regrets,

Randall, let me try to clarify this. Assuming you are talking about the bayonet filters like on a Hasselblad, yes there is a way to use them.
First, the only way to attach a filter to that lens is to use a Ser. VI slip-on filter adapter. I believe it takes a 1 1/4" adapter. That gives you threads to work with on the outside.
From there, you can either use Ser. VI filters directly, or, with a step-up ring go up to another size filter.
But, if you want to get to a bayonet filter attachment, there is an adapter from Ser. VI to BAY 50 [for older Hassy filters]. I'm not familiar with other bayonet filters or adapters for them. I know this works because I have that combination [why, I don't know - never have used it - another of those "seemed a good idea at the time" things, I guess}.
