I've just shot a roll of ISO 100 Fuji Superia on my 23 graphic roll film back (6x9) and noticed that the frames overlap quite a bit, exactly 5mm every frame. The overlap stays constant when the film advances. Although I do believe I didn't load the film properply (first 2 frames were lost), I'm not sure if that has got anything to do with this.
Does anyone know what I should do, apart from buying another roll film back?

Sounds like your insert doesn't match your holder. A 23 should give you eight 6X9's, of course. Does the counter on your insert go to 8? or 10? or 12? |

| Um, Fred, when I got my Graflex/SubSea RH-8, it did much the same thing. Frame counter went to 8. Gate was 2 1/4 x 3 1/16. Turns out the !@#$# had the wrong gears. There were other things wrong with it, too.
Repairs, at Armato's, cost about as much as a whole 'nother roll holder. But I don't see how I could have sold the thing.
Cheers,
Dan

A RH10 with a RH20 insert was doing the same as Larry's. I fixed it by removing (tricky) the top cover, cleaning the entire gear train with an aresol contact cleaner, and lubed it with luberiplate. RH20 service manual available.
