Was a 4x5" Graflarger (Graflex Inc.--after 1945) intended to be used with a Graflok back, or should it fit snugly on the back of a Pre-Anniversay Speed Graphic (Graflex Corp.) with a spring back? When I put one on my pre-Ann it fit loosely and wouldn't lock into place. (Still works OK since gravity does a nice job!)

Designed for Graflok, but would lay on any spring back. I would think Graflex backs would be too wide to lock,except in the 2x3 size
