I scored a clean Schneider Angulon 65mm F6.8 lens for my Century Graphic. It came mounted in a Synchro-Compur shutter, but it didn't come on a lensboard. I'm thinking about calling MPEX, having them drill a lensboard for me, and mounting it myself.

Can anyone comment on potential pitfalls? Thanks,

They should know what dia to drill for a Compur, but just incase, I'd have the diameter of that little step on the retaining handy.

Thanks, Les. Under the retaining ring there are about 5 thin metal spacers. Which side of the lens board would you think they go on? Also, how snug should I crank the retaining ring down?

Some cameras used thin shims to tweak the position of the lens. Graflex didn't. I don't see where you'd need the shimsm but keep them around just incase. If anything I'd put one in front of the board to give my fat fingers better grip onthe aperture ring, and the rest behind or in my sock drawer.

Got a lensboard from MPEX and mounted the lens with no problems. Turns out the shims ensure that the adjustment doesn't get hung up on the lens board.

Time to start searching for something longer than 105mm.
