I have two german shutters, One a compur with
ZBM and a Compound with MBT
B is bulb, or Berne
T ,Z is Time or Zeit
M is to use the shutter speeds.
Please note! DO NOT cock the shutter when using B or T. Cocking the shutter engages the gear train which isn't used with B or T and forcing something will damage the shutter.

The only Stupid newbie question is the one that does not get ask and cost $$$ to correct. Well maybe the one that causes one to miss that 1 in a million shot qualifies also.
