im on the ebay looking for a flash handle and reflector. i think i have one i like but i have a question about other items.
i keep seeing a screw in bezel/lens and a flashlight bulb being offered *******. where does THIS go?
also i see a screw in red button *******. again, where does IT go?
lots of references to a mid-late 70s movie and props and such and REALLY SURPRISED to find Roberts camera selling the battery tubes with references to that movie _________________ Air Force veteran who's trying to make it in the photography world |

There were different versions. The highly polished 3-cell chrome one had a red light on the front in a bezel and a button on the back for triggering the flash and solenoid. The later satin finished aluminum ones had a square button on the back and are far less expensive because the movie fans dont want those. There are also non Graflex flash handles like King Sol that look nice, mount to the side the same way as Graflite units and work well. I have this simple Heiland Research 2-cell unit. No extra cords or connectors for powering solenoids or triggering the flash from the handle. My shutters have M sync so I don’t need a solenoid to sync a flash. I trip the shutter with the mechanical shutter release lever or body release on the camera and the camera trips the flash via the sync cord.
