I found a very damaged Agfa Ansco Readyset on the curb. The box might be salvageable and the lens glass is not broken so I thought that someone might be able to use it if they are working on this kind of camera. I am happy to send this to someone if they think they could use it.
If someone knows a better place to post this offer, let me know. |

With a little more research I think this is a Ansco Agfa No. 1 Readyset Traveler.
The "viewfinder" is in good shape. The lens is clear. The shutter mechanism was working intermittently and I cleaned inside. The parts all seem to be there but something is not connecting correctly. The lens mount could probably be made usable. The door and attached rail are pretty bent but might be servicable. The box is pretty beat up but also might be servicable. The bellows is useless. |
