Does anyone have a recommendation for shutter stays material?
I haven't found anything thin enough and easy to manipulate and yet still rigid. |

The factory originals are Copper. The measurement is in this thread:

Copper .009 inch thick, .082 inch wide when folded over.
The aperture stays are the same for all Graflex shutters, only the length changes for the format. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to source copper in just that thickness. Any tips on folding the metal so the stays are straight and even? |

Thanks! Ill give your method a try. I couldn't find .009, but found .01. Hopefully that won't be a problem. |
