Tried to use my "Baby" Graflex today and much to my surprise I could not get the front standard to release, i.e.., open the camera. Apparently the button on top is frozen in some way as it would not move. I tried everything short of forcing it, including a shot of WD40, but I could not get it to open. Any suggestions? |

Yes, I do feel foolish. Release button is on the side, not the top. There is a button on top but apparently does nothing. |

Possibly a screw head for the release. Side release uses the same center mechanism with linkage to the side button. The only used it for a year or two (three?) on 4x5s and its not in the repair manuals. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |
