Soon, a new film in a certain popular sci-fi fantasy franchise will be released and it will feature heavily a fantasy weapon based on one those lovely, lovely 3 cells. Get ready for the fun to begin.

Another Star Wars movie how boring.
I'll watch it when the pay check for viewing it arrives. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

I saved my Heiland 3 cell gun several years ago.
George Lucas should have been made to watch flashbulbs going off until he wished he were being tortured by Lord Vader in person & not me!
Because I would graduate to O. Winston Link's flash arrays faster than you could say 'Graflex'. |

O. Winston Link (or OWL as he styled himself) is the king of steam railroad photographers. My favorite story concerns the time he set off one of his elaborate flash arrays, using a kazillion bulbs, and then discovered that he'd forgotten to pull the dark slide! (IIRC, he used a Graphic View II.) |

I remember the incident. It was a documentary on OWL. He was photographing a steam locomotive under repair & he was going to use up his stock of bulbs.
The mistake would be enough to make any man cuss strongly, but OWL only said "Oh Jesus" |
