Hello, yes, I know, this is a very infamous subject but I'm running out of options. My last encounter of the endangered species was at an estate sale, where the owner of it turned the sale into an auction, because these 2 movie fanatics kept arguing that they saw the jedi weapon first. Final price was about $540. Is anyone willing to sell to me or know where I can buy a Graflex 3 Cell? I AM NOT GOING TO DESTROY IT OR SELL IT, I am looking for a working one to use with my Speed Graphic. I have a Graflite, but it doesn't attach to the side of the rangefinder, and I want one relative to the era of my camera. Yes, I have seen "that movie" and even if the prop was never in it and never made famous, I would still get one for my camera, just because I collect these things.
I really want to own one of these before all the authentic ones are destroyed, and would never think about selling it because 1: I would probably never see one in my life again, and 2: I don't think I could live with myself knowing that I traded a vintage photographic piece of equipment to someone who will probably destroy it to make a prop. If you need proof that I really am a photographer and not a wannabe jedi, message me and I can send pictures or whatever you need. Any help is appreciated and I just want to be pointed in the right direction. |

A little out of my price range. I think it's absurd to pay that much and then destroy it. Where could I get the attachment clamp? The one that goes on the side of the Kalart rangefinder? |
