Is there such a thing? Or do I need to pick up a Linhof 617 to cover my pano urge?

No. Yes.

Have you thought about getting a 5x7 view camera instead of a dedicated 6x17 camera? If you're going to shoot 6x17 with more than one lens using a view camera will save the cost of lens cones with focusing helicals. Or a 4x5 view camera with a back extension and a 6x17 roll holder?
