I have 2 Globe Strobe 500 heads. I sold all the other Strobomatic equipment I had decades ago. I valued the Globe Strobe 500 heads too highly, so they did not sell. I still value them highly and would like to put them to use. I would like a reliable, lightweight, compact, portable power supply. I wonder if any of the new LiIon power supplies might work. The Globe Strobe 500 heads seem to be simple heads. They have a 2 wire power input and a sync socket. Perhaps a schematic of a Strobomatic 500 power supply would be a good place to start. I would appreciate input from anyone who has experience and expertise in this matter. Thanks in advance.
