I have always used my Heiland flash with flashbulbs. I am attempting to fire my graflex 3-cell strobe with bulbs. I can fire the bulbs with the solenoid, but I can't get it to fire with 2 different sync cords via the post sync. I have tried two different lenses and 2 different cords. I have also tried different bulbs. Any suggestions? Click the Youtube link for a video of my setup.

Batteries are good. And it does fire if I push the red button. Just not with the sync cord and lens shutter.

In your video you are using an X synced shutter.
X sync is for electronic flash and fires when the shutter is at full open.
M type flash bulbs take 15-17 milliseconds (1/60 second) to reach their peak and burn for 10-15 milliseconds.

I went blank and forgot that the sync was behind the red button. I have never used the 3-Cell before (Always my Heiland). Just fired a bulb off on my other lens and it worked.
