My speed graphic has a problem. The short track on the bed at the back keeps popping out of its slot because the lip of the slot has broken off. I cannot repair this myself and I hope there is someone who works on these cameras. The camera could also do with a good cleaning.
Can anyone recommend someone?
Thanks

Send me one, too.
My Crown Graphic is usable but the 135mm Optar could use a CLA, and the Kalart is kaput at the moment. I'm going to be traveling to India as part of my new job and would like to take my Graflex with me. |

A little later, but this week I had a quick email exchange with stevecamera and they are no longer accepting any large format cameras until their queue flushes - he predicts several months before any new work will be accepted.
That being said, can anyone recommend someone who can work on Combat Graphic shutters, both the focal plane and supermatic (aka Graphic 45, circa 1944)?
The good news is that everything works, nothing is bent, lens is clear, no obvious oil on the blades and both shutters cock and release. Altogether it's amazing how well something nearly 70 years old holds up. |
