I was looking through movie stills someone linked me the other day, and to my surprise found a Graflex camera as the centerpiece in this image (looks like a Pacemaker Crown/Speed). Something that struck me was the little holder for the cable release that is attached to the Rangefinder. I was curious, is this something that actually exists, or is it simply a prop fabricated by the filmmaker? It strikes me as very practical, as I oftentimes struggle with where I shall put my cable release when I am adjusting something on the camera, or metering or whatever I may do. |

I've seen photos of cable release holders, but all those were mounted on the top of the camera. I suppose if you're not going to use the rangefinder to side mount a flash bracket, you could utilize an empty hole or two on the metal plate to screw on a cable holder like the one pictured. |
