Hi guys!

I just want to ask if it's normal to have problem mounting fujinon 90mm in pacemaker speed graphic? i just noticed lately in my negatives that the edge of the railings on my speed graphic are there. i think i've set up the railings to infinity mark then focus the lens to infinity but then i can see the railings in the negs even if its a bit blurry i just don't like it to be there. i don't even noticed it in the ground glass when focusing it. is it normal? am i setting it up wrong?

Drop the bed, raise the front standard to eliminate the rails/bed from wide angle shots. The front standard adjustment will vary with subject distance.

thank you./ i will try to do the dropbed but i'm hesitant that the front standard will have problem with the railings or something to that effect. i'll try it an report later.

Dropping the bed should be all you need to do.

My situation isn't exactly analogous to yours -- I shoot 2x3, not 4x5 -- but I shoot a 35/4.5 Apo Grandagon on my Century with the bed dropped and don't have to use front rise to eliminate the rails. A 35 on 2x3 is a bit shorter, relatively, than a 90 on 4x5.

PS: is there any thread we could post some of the pictures we took with our graflex cam? or picture of the cam?

last questions. is it ok to have the front standard set on the inner rail when focusing the lens to infinity? am i doing it right? when i try to set it on the second rail i'm having a small problem. sorry for all these questions
