Interesting to note, unlike yourself, who knows, from the pictures, that it was a baby speed, the seller, after declaring it a 4x5, at the very end of listing stated:
Quote: | On Jul-31-12 at 05:08:16 PDT, seller added the following information:
It is not a 4 by 5
I just checked on line to be sure that I did give you correct information. The model 23 is a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 or 6 x 9 cm film size. It is confusing as a model 22 film back is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 and can be used on this camera as well as a 4 x 5 camera with the correct film holder |
Someone must have clued him in.
The darn thing looks like it was hardly used, if ever!
And 45 bids... hot item!
Wonder if the one who won, will ever use it, or if it will just collect more dust and age.
Funny stuff. |

Pretty, still a high price for a 2x3.
Bizarre bidding pattern. There was a bidding war between the top two bidders. Another eBay train wreck. |

ah banjo...
just cause...
Bidder a***r(317) may never know...
that they were..
Another eBay train wreck.
Hope they use the dang thing...
as most of those on this site, know, where all collectable!
But where still in use and sucking air, and most I would bet, use what they got. Not all the time.. but we have an cherish and know from hands on experience what they have stored and collected, in where ever it may be. . this moment.
Ready on a whim to pull it out again and take some shots, and subsequently know about what it really is worth on the market in reality.
ahhh my two cents worth on moonlight.. now will all forgetaboutit |
