Now I see -- looking at the "Service Instructions and Parts Catalog" - the yoke is what I've been calling the rear rails. That's the part that's out of kilter. I need to straighten that out before worrying about the rangefinder connection. I have to disconnect the rear part of the bellows from the frame in order to access the yoke.

Referring to Figure 1, I still don't see how the rangefinder arm assembly 6c is connected to the attaching part 6a and 6b but that might be clear after I've removed the bellows.

Edit: make sure the focus lock is NOT set if the camera is so equipped.

1. I do not have a copy of the service manual for the Century.
2. The RF arm hangs there in space attached to the RF shaft only. It makes contact with an actuator on the yoke as the rails are moved out or in from fully retracted to 1 inch out (approximately).

"If the rear has come out of the body guides then moving them fully forward with the bed at the drop position until the rear section is in the track on the bed then returning the bed to the normal 90° position then running them inward will correct the problem."

That was the problem. I had to reinstall the rear part under the body guides.

Here are picture of what the Century Graphic looks like disassembled. There are really only three parts: the body, the bellows and the focus screen.
